You bring the supplies

For each window, you'll need a:

Projector with 1080p support
64GB USB 3.0 flash drive AND a computer to move the downloaded files onto the USB
Semi-transparent white curtain or cloth large enough to fully cover the window
Painters tape or clips to hold the curtain tightly in place
Dark room – it must be dark both inside and outside for rear projections to work
Speaker with good bass, if you want to separately play the Halloween After Party music album (Projection videos do *not* have music or other audio embedded, since most projectors don’t have very good speakers AND the projections are played in a loop for continuous enjoyment.)

Troubleshooting tips!

Easy setup

Hang your “screen.” Use semi-transparent white fabric. Hang it inside your window like a curtain, but pulled tightly to create a flat, crisp surface for the projector light.
Position your projector. Place projector anywhere in the room behind the curtain. Point it at the back of your “screen.” Distance determines size, so closer to the screen = smaller, further = larger.
Hit play and enjoy! Characters appear to dance inside your window. Perfect illusion from outside – looks like they’re in your house. You control everything from your warm, comfortable living room

Frequently asked questions

1. Can a non-technical user set up the Halloween projections?

Absolutely — many of our customers are not technical at all! If you can download a file from the internet, unzip it, and copy it onto a USB drive, you’re ready to go.

We’ve included a short setup guide to walk you through these steps.

Important: Every projector is different. If you run into playback or display issues, you’ll need to search for answers and troubleshoot your projector’s settings (brightness, orientation, USB support, etc.).

2. What equipment do I need for window projections?

You’ll need a projector, USB stick (and a computer to move the files onto the USB), semi-translucent white curtain or large enough fabric to cover the entire window, and our digital video files. The step-by-step setup course provides more detail.

3. Can I play the projections outside or other places than the windows?

Yes! These are ordinary projections that can be played on any flat surface, such as garage doors, the side of a house, or free-standing projector screens.

4. Can I get a refund on digital downloads?

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. We will resolve download or access problems at no charge. If files are corrupted or unplayable, we will provide replacement files.
